LEO Round Table is an internet based law enforcement talk show. This is episode 21, recorded on 02/22/2016, with the following on-air personalities: Chip DeBlock (Host), Bret Bartlett, Mark Hopper, Dan O’Kelly and special guests Jim Preston and Vinny Gericitano. We produce two 30 minute shows each week that are normally released on our YouTube channel Tuesdays and Thursdays. In addition to your host, the other panelists are active or retired law enforcement officers as well.
Topic 1 concerns rookie New York City police officer Peter Liang who was found guilty of manslaughter and official misconduct for the accidental shooting death of Akai Gurley. About 10,000 supporters for the officer rallied in New York in addition to other demonstrations around the country. Quoted in the story is Active Response Training writer Greg Ellifritz.
Topic 2 concerns the recent ATF 41F ruling which makes changes to gun suppressor applications.
Topic 3 concerns King County Washington Sheriff John Urquhart who is supporting a bill that would allow non-citizens to become law enforcement officers in the state.
