LEO Round Table is an internet based law enforcement talk show. Mentioned in the article is Officer Edward Nero, Officer William Porter, Officer Caesar Goodson, Florida Attorney David Weinstein and Harvard University Professor Alan Dershowitz.
Topic 2 concerns two (2) Baltimore (Maryland) police officers, Off. William Porter and Sgt. Alicia White, filing a lawsuit against Baltimore State Attorney Marilyn Mosby and Baltimore Circuit Court Major Sam Cogen. The lawsuit stems from actions taken after the death of Freddie Gray. Topic 3 concerns an off-duty Boston (Massachusetts) police officer chasing down a jaywalker and dragging him back to the scene where he struck the officer’s vehicle with an umbrella.
Topic 4 concerns Florida Highway Patrol Trooper Miseal Diaz attempting to stop a driver in a vehicle while on his motorcycle. Trooper Diaz ended up jumping on the driver’s hood before shooting the driver three (3) times seemingly through the windshield. Trooper Diaz was flung off the hood by the driver who fled and died from the gunshots later.
Topic 5 concerns former police officer Michael Rizzi who retired nine (9) years ago on a disability. Rizzi has been charged federally for conspiring to launder proceeds of a multimillion-dollar prostitution ring.
Topic 6 concerns former South Carolina police officer Michael Slager being charged federally for civil rights violations in the death of black motorist Walter Scott. Slager has also been charged with murder by the state. Quoted in the article is former U.S. Attorney Pete Strom and Attorney Andy Savage.
Topic 7 concerns off-duty Fairlawn (Ohio) police officer Justin Herstich running from fellow Fairlawn police officers in a vehicle pursuit. Herstich was ultimately arrested and his passenger was another off-duty Fairlawn police officer.
Topic 8 concerns a New York cop having his gun and badge taken from him after a viral video showed him pointing his firearm at bystanders during an arrest and punching a bystander in the face before arresting him.
