Topic 1 concerns a move by the ACLU of Massachusetts and the Samuelson Law, Technology and Public Policy Clinic at UC Berkeley’s School of Law to discourage juries from listening to testimony from law enforcement officers if they do not have an accompanying tape to backup their account of the facts.
