LEO Round Table is an internet based law enforcement talk show. Terrorist and shooter Omar Mateen had a history of trying to get into law enforcement as a career. The types of military-style equipment used to respond to the attack are also discussed. The U.S. Department of Justice (US DOJ) removed radical Islamic references from transcripts and St. Lucie County Sheriff Ken Mascara is refusing to place deputies at the Islamic Center of Fort Pierce (where Mateen attended). Other people quoted are Attorney General Loretta Lynch and Fox News Contributor John Bolton.
Topic 2 concerns U.S. Army sniper instructor Joseph “Rambo” Hunter being sentenced to 20 years in prison for plotting to kill a DEA agent. Quoted in the story is U.S. District Judge Laura Taylor Swain.
