Topic 2 concerns seven (7) Baltimore (Maryland) Police officers being indicted on federal charges. Detectives Momodu Gondo, Evodio Hendrix, Daniel Hersl, Wayne Jenkins, Jemell Rayam, Marcus Taylor and Maurice Ward were all charged with racketeering (Det. Gondo also had charges related to a drug conspiracy). U.S. Attorney Rod Rosenstein is quoted in the story.

Topic 3 concerns the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of California ruling in an anonymous blogger’s (a.k.a. Doe Publius) favor. The court ruled that his actions in posting the addresses and telephone numbers of 40 California legislators who supported gun control measures was protected as free speech. The blogger’s publication was titled “Tyrant Registry”. Judge Lawrence J. O’Neill and the Firearms Policy Coalition are referenced in the story.
