LEO Round Table is an internet based law enforcement talk show. We produce two 30 minute shows each week that are normally released on our YouTube channel Tuesdays and Thursdays. Topic 4 concerns an update on the Fraternal Order of Police (FOP) hiring indicted former Chicago Police Department Officer Jason Van Dyke as a janitor. As a result, the FOP is under fire by protesters. Former Off. Van Dyke was charged with first-degree murder after shooting 17-year-old Laquan McDonald 16 times in November of 2015. Officer Van Dyke is a white male and Laquan McDonald was a black male.
Topic 5 concerns an update on the Brewster County (Texas) Commission voting to ban “political, religious, commercial or personal” messages or symbols on property owned by the county. Brewster County Sheriff Ronny Dodson removed crosses from his deputies’ cars. Ector County (Texas) Sheriff Mark Donaldson was quoted in the article.
