Topic 1 concerns Stokie (Illinois) Police Department Sergeant Timothy Gramins who got into a 56 second gun battle with a Gangster Disciple who had just committed an armed robbery. The armed robber fired 21 rounds at Sgt. Gramins from two handguns and Sgt. Gramins returned fire with 33 rounds from his one firearm (having only 4 rounds remaining). Instead of carrying 47 rounds of handgun ammunition, Sgt. Gramins now carries 145 rounds.
Topic 2 concerns the controversial Cell Phone Gun invented by Kirk Kjellberg. The firearm resembles a mobile phone but fires two .380 caliber bullets.
Topic 3 concerns the CornerShot which was invented by Amos Golan who is a former officer with the Israel Defense Forces. The CornerShot is a mechanism that allows pistols attached to it to shoot around corners without exposing the shooter.
Topic 4 concerns college security forces adding semi-automatic rifles to their arsenal of weapons. Quoted in the article is former University of Illinois Deputy Chief of Police Skip Frost and FBI Agent Katherine Schweit.
