Topic 1 concerns a blogger known as @RealWriteWinger who took on the California government when they started passing new laws requiring the registration of long guns (a.k.a. assault weapons) and the creation of a gun owner database. His tactic was publicly posting a Tyrant Registry containing the name, address and phone numbers of politicians who voted in support of these laws. The State of California shut him down, but he won a lawsuit with the help of the Firearms Policy Coalition.
