LEO line-of-duty-deaths down 18% in 2019
LEO suicides up 33% in 2019
Topic 1 concerns the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial Fund (NLEOMF) reporting that line-of-duty deaths for 2019 are down from 157 in 2018 to 128 in 2019. That’s a decrease of 18 percent.
Topic 2 concerns Blue H.E.L.P. announcing that law enforcement suicides for 2019 were 228 compared with 172 for 2018. That’s an increase of 32.5 percent.
