Shakur’s deceased son Antonio “Tony” Bryant (justifiably shot and killed by police after he opened fire on two police officers) and Police Benevolent Association President Ricardo Rivera were referenced in the story.

Topic 2 concerns a video of off-duty Elizabethtown (Kentucky) Police officers Det. Chase McKeown and his wife Off. Nicole McKeown eating at a Raising Cane’s restaurant when they observed Justin Carter robbing it. They both drew their firearms, chased the robber out of the restaurant and arrested him with the help of other officers.

Topic 3 concerns a video of carjacking suspect Donnavan Hart armed with a knife fleeing from a Harris County (Texas) Precinct 4 Constable’s deputy through a crowded LA Fitness gym after having just been chased from a Popeyes restaurant and a Home Depot. An off-duty Houston Police Department Commander was working out in the gym at the time and gave chase as well. Both law enforcement officers shot the suspect (who survived) after he turned and charged at them with the knife.
