Topic 2 concerns two videos of Winston-Salem (North Carolina) Police Officer James Carter arresting motorist Tekara Williams. The first video released (included in this episode) was shot by spectator Da’taon Edwards and posted to Facebook where it went viral. The department responded by releasing a 40-minute video shot from the officer’s body camera. Judge Richard Gottliev and Chief Barry Rountree are referenced in the story.
