Topic 1 concerns two Detroit (Michigan) Police officers who responded to a residential burglary call and were fired upon by a resident with a shotgun. One officer was shot in the face and the other was injured by broken glass. Chief James Craig was quoted in the story.
Topic 2 concerns newly elected Cuyahoga County (Ohio) Prosecutor Michael O’Malley deciding whether or not to charge Cleveland Police officers Randolph Dailey, Patricia Coleman, Michael Donegan, Jason Edens and Paul Wilson with a misdemeanor. They are accused of failing to control a 2012 pursuit where civilians Timothy Russell and Malissa Williams were killed by police gunfire. Former Prosecutor Tim McGinty, Officer Michael Brelo and Judge John P. O’Donnell are also mentioned in the story.
Topic 3 concerns a video of Leland (North Carolina) Police Officer Jacob Schwenk being shot by driver Brent Matthew Quinn 6 times before returning fire and killing Quinn.
