Topic 2 concerns Fraternal Order of Police (FOP) union for the Tulsa (Oklahoma) Police Department filing an ethics complaint against District Attorney Steve Kunzweiler for charging Officer Betty Shelby with first-degree manslaughter in the shooting death of unarmed Terence Crutcher. District Judge Doug Drummond is mentioned in the story.
Topic 3 concerns fired North Charleston (South Carolina) Police Officer Michael Slager pleading guilty to a federal civil rights charge (as part of a plea bargain) in the 2015 shooting death of Walter Scott. Five month ago Slager’s murder trial ended in a deadlocked jury. Video of the shooting is included in this episode.
