Topic 2 concerns the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals in New Orleans overturning another federal judge’s ruling and allowing an unidentified Baton Rouge (Louisiana) Police officer to pursue a negligence claim against Black Lives Matter protest organizer DeRay Mckesson.
Topic 3 concerns former Michigan State Police Trooper Mark Bessner being found guilty in the death of Damon Grimes. Grimes was fleeing on an ATV when Trooper Bessner Tasered him, causing him to crash into a parked pickup truck and die from blunt force trauma to the head.
