This is the first Internal Affairs Story that LEO Round Table will be producing. It’s the story of retired Tampa Police Officer David D’Agresta who was accused of raping a female in the back seat of his marked police car while on-duty and while she was in his custody. The allegations against him were fabricated, but that didn’t necessarily make it any easier for him to defend himself.
David specifically credits union Representative Sharon Slater, President Kevin Durkin and Board Member Greg Stout (all with the Police Benevolent Association (PBA) in Tampa) for the ultimate outcome.
