Topic 1 concerns pictures of fake U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) flyers in the Washington, D.C. area calling for the public to turn in undocumented immigrants. Mayor Muriel Bowser, Deputy Mayor Kevin Donahue are quoted in the story and reference is made to illegal aliens.
Topic 2 concerns the city of Hackensack (New Jersey) forcing six (6) police officers involved in shooting or fatal accidents into early, disability retirement against their will. The six officers are John Hermann, Elvin Hernandez, Alexander Lopez-Arenas, Keith Marrano, Mohammad Sheikh and Stephen Ochman. Police Benevolent Association (PBA) President Frank Cavallo and Attorney Christopher Gray are quoted in the story.
