Topic 1 concerns a video of gunman Ralph Stanley Elrod Jr. threatening four-wheeler Kelvin Ross and another man on a dirt bike. When Peach County (Georgia) Sheriff’s deputies Daryl Smallwood and Patrick Sondron responded to investigate and question Elrod, he shot and killed both deputies when he was told he was being placed under arrest. Elrod then waited for responding law enforcement units to arrive and engaged them with his AR-15 rifle and a 12-gauge shotgun. He finally surrendered after being shot by Byron Police Officer Wesley Griffis.
