Topic 1 concerns Houston (Texas) Police Off. Gerald Goines who is being accused of lying in a search warrant affidavit by Chief Art Acevedo. In addition Harris County District Attorney Kim Ogg is reviewing the 30-year veteran’s cases. When the warrant was executed four (4) police officers (including Off. Goines) were shot in a gunfight and residents Dennis Tuttle and Rhogena Nicholas were killed. Officer Goines’ attorney, Nicole DeBorde, was referenced in the story.
Topic 2 concerns U.S. Coast Guard Lieutenant Christopher Paul Hasson who was arrested and charged with firearm and drug offenses. He is also being accused of creating a hit list targeting liberal lawmakers and politicians.
