Topic 1 concerns fired Dallas (Texas) Police Officer Amber Guyger being indicted on a murder charge in the shooting death of her neighbor Botham Jean. Officer Guyger mistakenly thought Jean was an intruder in her apartment, but she was actually in his apartment, after she finished working a 15-hour shift.

Topic 2 concerns four St. Louis (Missouri) Police officers being indicted on federal charges. Officers Dustin Boon, Randy Hays and Christopher Myers are accused of throwing an undercover officer to the ground, kicking him and hitting him with a baton on 09/17/2017 during protests after the acquittal of Off. Jason Stockly in the shooting death of Anthony Lamar Smith. Officer Bailey Colletta is accused of lying to a federal grand jury during the investigation.

Topic 3 concerns Chicago (Illinois) Police Officer Dora Fontaine accusing Det. David March of fabricating a statement made by her in an attempt to clear Off. Jason Van Dyke in the shooting death of Laquan McDonald. Detective March, Off. Joseph Walsh and Off. Thomas Gaffney were charged with official misconduct, obstruction of justice and conspiracy and are in trial.
