LEO Round Table is an internet based law enforcement talk show. This entire episode covers the deadliest mass shooting in the United States which occurred early Sunday (06/12/2016) morning in Orlando, Florida. Gunman Omar Mir Seddique Mateen fatally gunned down 49 people and wounded at least 53 while pledging allegiance to ISIS. This incident, labeled as a terrorist attack, occurred at the Pulse gay nightclub in Orlando with over 300 patrons present. Mateen legally purchased a Glock pistol and a long gun (rumored to be an AR-15 style assault rifle) within the past two (2) weeks that are suspected to be the ones used in the assault. There was a three (3) hour standoff with law enforcement that culminated with eleven (11) Orlando police officers and three (3) Orange County sheriff’s deputies exchanging gunfire with Mateen resulting in his death. Quoted in the story is Orlando Police Chief John Mina, President Barak Obama, Sitora Yusufiy, FBI Assistant Special Agent Ronald Hopper and ATF Assistant Special Agent in Charge Trevor Velinor. Also mentioned is the arrest of James Wesley Howell in West Hollywood, California.
