LEO Round Table is an internet based law enforcement talk show. This is episode 61, recorded on 07/18/2016, with the following on-air personalities: Chip DeBlock (Host), Charles Humphrey and David D’Agresta. We produce two 30 minute shows each week that are released on our YouTube channel Tuesdays and Thursdays. In addition to your host, the other panelists are retired law enforcement officers as well.
Topic 1 concerns Dallas Police Chief David Brown stating that officers in Dallas and across the nation are being asked to do too much and are under too much strain.
Topic 2 concerns Russell County (Alabama) Sheriff Heath Taylor being frustrated by the mainstream media and social media.
Topic 3 concerns comments from President Barack Obama on recent black deaths at the hands of police. Although investigations involving the latest deaths are still open, President Obama feels vocalized that they involve police brutality and racial discord. Vice President Joe Biden is also quoted in the story.
Topic 4 concerns Vice President Joe Biden’s comments about President Barack Obama telling police groups that they are part of a racist law enforcement system. President’s Obama’s support for violent anti-cop movements is also discussed.
Topic 5 concerns Harford County (Maryland) Sheriff Jeffrey Gahler speaking out about individuals pre-judging law enforcement officers for deadly force situations without waiting for a proper investigation. Sheriff Gahler also criticized President Barack Obama for his response to recent shootings.
Topic 6 concerns Houston County (Texas) Sheriff Donald Valenza blaming President Barack Obama for the current day anti-law enforcement sentiment.
Topic 7 concerns Milwaukee (Wisconsin) Sheriff David Clarke advising President to “Keep your mouth shut” when it comes to talking about officer-involved shootings.
