LEO Round Table is an internet based law enforcement talk show. This is episode 69, recorded on 08/29/2016, with the following on-air personalities: Chip DeBlock (Host), Luke Lirot (Attorney), Bret Bartlett, Mark Hopper, Bobby Alsip and David D’Agresta. This is a 1-hour show that was broadcast live and added to our YouTube channel. We plan to start broadcasting shows live every Monday evening at 7 pm EST (the 2nd Monday of every month will be at 8 pm EST). In addition to your host, the other panelists (except for Attorney Luke Lirot) are retired or active law enforcement officers.

Topic 4 concerns Minneapolis (Minnesota) Police Officer Jeronimo Yanez being placed back on leave after having returned to work. Officer Yanez fatally shot Philando Castile in Falcon Heights on 07/06/2016. Quoted in the story is St. Anthony Police Chief Jon Mangseth and Clarence Castile.

Topic 6 concerns the president of Chicago’s (Illinois) Civilian Police Oversight Board, Lori Lightfoot, seeking to eliminate the requirement for citizens to sign an affidavit before filing complaints on police officers.

Topic 8 concerns an anti-terrorism event called “What Law Enforcement Needs to Know About Islamic Terrorism” organized by the California Association of Tactical Officers and attended by members of the San Diego County Sheriff’s Department. Activists did not want law enforcement to attend. The job offer was withdrawn after Balderas told them she was an Orthodox Jew and needed to leave work early on Fridays for the Sabbath.
