Topic 1 concerns a video of an unidentified Evansville (Indiana) Police officer dealing with driver Terry W. Chanley at a traffic accident. When Chanley refused to answer the officer’s questions, he made a quick movement as if he was reaching for something. Chanley then pointed a hammer with a black handle at the officer while refusing to follow commands. The officer perceived the hammer to be a gun and fatally shot Chanley.
