Topic 1 concerns a video of Royal Oak (Michigan) Police officers attempting to apprehend a 62-year-old suspected car thief as he repeatedly stabs himself with a knife.


Topic 2 concerns a video of Pasco County (Florida) Sheriff’s Deputy Jessie Larkin attempting to arrest Jordan Caraballo when a violent fight ensued and Air Force veteran Ray Johnson jumped in to help the deputy.


Topic 3 concerns New York (New York) Police Sergeant Hugh Barry being charged in the shooting death of 66-year-old Deborah Danner. Danner suffered from paranoid schizophrenia and was armed with a baseball bat. Sergeant Barry has been charged with Second-Degree Murder, Second-Degree Manslaughter and Criminally Negligent Homicide. Defense Attorney Andrew Quinn, Sergeants Benevolent Association President Ed Mullins, Assistant District Attorney Wanda Perez-Maldonado and Mayor Bill de Blasio were quoted in the story.
