Topic 1 concerns former Parkland SRO Scot Peterson being arrested on 11 criminal charges including child neglect, culpable negligence and perjury that have a combined potential prison sentence of almost 100 years. Peterson is a former Broward County (Florida) Sheriff’s deputy who was the SRO at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School during the mass shooting in February of 2018.
