Diamond Reynolds (girlfriend of Philando Castile) will receive $675,000 from the city of St. Anthony and an additional $125,000 from the League of Minnesota Cities Insurance Trust and the city of Roseville. Topic 3 concerns the city of Santa Clara (California) being forced to pay $1.7 million to Austin Calhoun after a jury trial. Calhoun was suicidal and holding a knife to his throat when Santa Clara Police Officer Mike Horn justifiably shot him in the head with two (2) rubber bullets and saved his life. Calhoun underwent brain surgery afterwards and suffered a skull deformity.
