Topic 2 concerns a video of former McKinney (Texas) Police Corporal Eric Casebolt arresting bikini-clad 15-year-old Dajerria Becton while responding to a disturbance call at a pool party. Becton’s family filed a $5 million lawsuit against the City of McKinney and Cpl. Casebolt alleging negligence, false arrest, assault and excessive force. The lawsuit has been settled for nearly $150,000.
