Topic 2 concerns Cologne (Germany) police being criticized for using racial profiling tactics targeting Arab and North African looking men in order to keep their New Year’s Eve festivities safe. Chief Jurgen Mathies and Mayor Henriette Reker’s spokesman (Gergor Timmer) were quoted in the story.
