Topic 1 concerns Bristol County (Massachusetts) Sheriff Thomas Hodgson, who testified before the House Judiciary Committee, recommending that the elected officials of sanctuary cities who harbor and conceal criminal illegal aliens be arrested and charged with a federal crime. Sheriff Hodgson also stated that leaders who harbor illegal aliens or tip off targets of ICE raids (like Democratic Rep. Michelle DuBois) should be arrested as well. The Chris Salcedo Show, Illinois Democratic Rep. Luis Gutierrez and Somerville (Massachusetts) Mayor Joe Curtatone were mentioned in the story too.
Topic 2 concerns Orange-Osceola County (Orlando area of Florida) State Attorney Aramis Ayala losing her court hearing in front of Ninth Circuit Chief Judge Frederick Lauten. The capital murder case of Markeith Loyd was taken away from her office by Governor Rick Scott after she pledged to not seek the death penalty in any of her cases. Loyd is accused of killing his pregnant ex-girlfriend Sade Dixon and Orlando Police Lt. Debra Clayton.
