Topic 2 concerns a video of wanted robber Dylan Polinski running from Austin (Texas) police after allegedly holding a woman hostage at a hotel. Shots were fired when he started to flee and officers Javier Rodriguez and Kamowa Reynolds were in the hotel stairwell when Polinski practically ran into them. Officer Reynolds deployed a Taser and shot Polinski in the leg.

Topic 3 concerns a video of homicide suspect David Lee Tovar running from San Jose (California) police at a 2-story motel. He was shot after failing to follow commands and having an object in his hand that was mistaken for a firearm.
