Topic 1 concerns alleged masked terrorist Adan Salazar who was caught by Dallas (Texas) Police officers parked outside of the police station. He was armed with guns and drugs while planning on shooting at the station and its officers. Deputy Chief Albert Martinez is quoted in the story.
Topic 2 concerns the Texas House of Representatives approving a Sanctuary City ban in the form of legislation that could put police chiefs and sheriffs in jail. Reference is made to Republican Representative Charlie Geren, the bill’s sponsor.
