Topic 1 concerns a new device called the Textalyzer created by Ben Lieberman and Israel-based tech company Cellebrite. It would allow New York cops to immediately examine driver’s cellphones at accident scenes for tapping, swiping or clicking.


Topic 2 concerns California law enforcement officers testing a new breathalyzer device that detects any of six drugs in a person’s saliva. Assemblyman Tom Lackey is a sponsor.


Topic 3 concerns North Miami Police Officer Jonathan Aledda mistakenly shot caretaker Charles Kinsey instead of autistic patient Arnaldo Rios in 2016. Prosecutors have charged him with additional attempted manslaughter and culpable negligence charges.
