Topic 1 concerns the acquittal of Ray Rosas for shooting Corpus Christi (Texas) Police officers Steven Ruebelmann, Steven Brown and Andrew Jordan on 02/19/2015.
Topic 2 concerns Bakersfield (California) Police Officer Reagan Selman who fatally shot 73-year-old Francisco Serna after he refused to stop approaching officers and to take his hand out of his pocket. Chief Lyle Martin was referenced in the story.
Topic 3 concerns the Media Sonar program on Twitter that has allowed law enforcement to search for key words identifying illegal activity and threats to public safety. Twitter will no longer grant law enforcement access to this tool.
Topic 4 concerns U.S. Deputy Marshal Charles Brown who, while allegedly intoxicated, pulled his firearm out at a Bay Ridge (New York) McDonalds because he had to wait too long for his food. He reportedly pointed his firearm at numerous people in the restaurant.
Topic 5 concerns retired Louisiana Captain Clay Higgins (a.k.a. The Cajun John Wayne) who left St. Landry Parish (Louisiana) Sheriff’s Office earlier this year. He has been elected into the Louisiana House of Representatives seat for the 3rd District.
Topic 6 concerns a lawsuit from former Roswell Police Sergeant Silvia Cotriss who was fired for flying a Confederate flag at her home.
