Topic 1 concerns an update on Salt Lake City (Utah) Police Detective Jeff Payne being fired after arresting University of Utah Hospital nurse Alex Wubbels for refusing to allow him to do a blood draw on unconscious patient William Gray. His supervisor, Lt. James Tracy, was demoted after the incident as well. Both former Det. Payne and now Sgt. Tracy are appealing their discipline. Police Chief Mike Brown is referenced in the story.

Topic 2 concerns an update on former 76-year-old Tulsa County (Oklahoma) Sheriff’s volunteer deputy Robert Bates. Bates was arrested in 2015 after fatally shooting unarmed B/M Eric Harris when he mistakenly discharged his firearm instead of his Taser. Bates has been released after serving 16 months of his 4 year sentence in prison.

Topic 3 concerns two (2) of the six (6) Baltimore Police officers in the Freddie Gray case accepting discipline. The officers are Garrett Miller and Edward Nero. Reference was made to the Fraternal Order of Police (FOP) and Attorney Michael Davey. The other officers who are part of the Baltimore Six are Off. Caesar Goodson, Lt. Brian Rice, Sgt. Alicia White and William Porter.
