Topic 1 concerns a new study conducted by University of Indianapolis Psychology Professor Aaron Kivisto and published in the American Journal of Public Health. The study shows that fatal shootings of civilians by law enforcement officers happen less often in states with stricter gun laws than those that are less stringent.
